Rank problem

When do i receive a rank? I already have like 1000 green skulls and when i try to ser my rank it doesn't show and when i click the button where you can get a team and this stuff, there ir a button saying "my rank", and when i click it it says my rank is unavailable.
Do i receive a rank during the event or just at the end? Cause i see there is people with a rank already. Is it a bug?
