Skulls not counting toward ranking or team total

Hi all,
I'm having an issue with my number of collected skulls for the event.
I currently have 10,412 skulls but the leaderboard shows me as having 0 skulls with a rank of 13,670 out of 15,492. I had a similar problem in the last event where I finished with about 9,000 skulls and I was ranked around 23,000 out of 25,000. At first I thought it meant that people were just getting way more skulls than me, but then I noticed that my teammates with half as many skulls were ranked exponentially higher than I was.
Also, my skulls are not counting toward my team's total. As I said, I currently have 10,412 skulls but my team's total is showing only 1,269 skulls, which is about how many my teammates have collected on their own. (However, unlike the individual ranking issue, I did not have this problem in the last event).
Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?
