I did this a couple times before joining Ascension. It's not unlikely at all, especially for players who won't rank well in the tournament and want the Emperor token. To me, this is a much bigger issue than someone with 7k GS making it to hard ten. Phobos/Deimos gear needs to be returned to the game.

All you have to do to pass a level is kill one enemy and not die. With how hard enemies hit in the higher levels, armor no longer matters. Getting to hard ten depends on your weapon and the luck you have for spawns, for all of us without full Phobos sets. Taking off your calling medal helps. It'd be different if you were…

I was never affected by this (I'm from Canada), but last couple times I tried to watch gem videos, I could watch the video, but then the game threw an error message and no gem was given. You'd think they could at least throw the error before the ad. ;)

If you die too much on a level, you should play an easier one. Or play better. Sorry if that upsets you, but most of my gear can still be found in game, and I only have one rune. I get that hard levels are much better than normal ones, but they aren't if you get killed right away.

Maybe if you can't dodge enemies, and you're getting one shot, you should play on a lower difficulty? I'm not maxed out and I can survive a hit from anything on hard 1, including epic sirens. As far as I've seen, this is just a display bug, and does not affect your energy. Meaning, if you had one energy when this bug starts, you'll show three energy, but be able to play once. After which you will still show full energy but won't be able to play, as you are legitimately out of energy.

IMO events should be hard, especially on the hard levels. But it's not right that some players are now maxing out a full tier below other players. At the very least, T8 needs to be reintroduced. I'm only clearing one million vp per tournament (~1.4M in last one), and that's by playing when I can, and making 8k-15k typical runs. No gems, no vials, few videos. Keep at it and you'll get there in no time! :D

I was checking where friends were on the board and saw your vp going up by only a thousand or so at a time. I thought it was funny that someone with ~740k was getting so little per run, and figured you were just dying on hard ten. Didn't realize you were an asshat. Or is this a different Santa?

Haha I like it! I've only ever had about 5 mil at once on one character. Gold weapons from Legendary Zeus sell for almost 14k each, and once you're done buying skills your gold racks up pretty quickly.
