So... What is the 4th of July special event?

Hi! I updated my BS:AD and when I opened the app, it started off with a video that begins VERY similarly to the one that plays when you first start the game. I got a heart attack cause I thought my data was erased. I was like... OH HECK NO!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
But then it was a new video that said there is a special 4th of July event from Britney, however everything in the game looks the same... Did anyone get an event? Please don't tell me that the "special event" is us spending our REAL (some) money for the Headliner B-Gem thing... LOL. That would be the suckiest EVER.
