Buy Melee Equipment during Mission

Hi, me again.

I often use the Combat Knife in a mission and can kill sufficient times to "destroy" the weapon.

Could this, and other Melee weapons, be made purchasable "in mission" as Reactix, Throwing Knives & Grenades are?
