Help restoring lost progress

I took the precaution of backing up the game files as advised.

i didn't want to just trust iTunes, so I used iFunbox too.

I have also been logged in through Facebook & Game App Centre which were supposed to be backing up.

There don't appear to be any online restore mechanisms, and restoring the files from the backups doesn't restore game progress.... It goes back to the tutorial.

Not at all happy....

Someone please help me regain lost progress.... Support not responding to requests...As usual

I've already missed out on one Special Event due to a software failure.

I've patiently built up my reserves again, waiting for the next one, only to have a similar problem.

I need to get a serious weapon to complete some of the challenges.

Please assist me.

I had the same problem and support said they couldn't do anything about it. If you backed it up to the cloud you should be ok, just load it, if that doesn't work I'm not sure there is anything you can do. Glu won't even refund you for purchases, they tell you to go thru the Istore help desk.

I managed to restore from an iPad to PC backup which had worked after all.

I still lost a load of "earned" credits & some "purchased" ones.

App Store are refunding the latter purchase.

Not happy that I've missed out twice on "Special Events" almost guaranteed wins (given available Med-Kits, Reactix, Grenades etc.) of weapons which would allow me to complete challenges, due to App failures.

Glu support not interested in helping.
