PVP's getting more expensive.

Since the last PVP event I've noticed that when searching for an opponent in the PVP's the first opponent is, without exception, much stronger ie red figures.

Which means to get an opponent where you have a chance to win is now costing at least 250 diamonds.......

We are typically matched up in PVP by Victory Points, first. Then you're correct, PVP matching seems to be a bidding war for the most diamond rewards and/or the least powerful defense.

But to explain the very first PVP match up; look at the Victory Point similarities; not the attack versus defensive power.

Example: Player 1 & Player 2 both have 1500 Victory Points. Both players use all of their diamonds to upgrade their bases. Player 1 has won an average of 4000 diamonds per PVP match, but Player 2 has only won an average of 500 diamonds per PVP match. Therefore, Player 1 has a more powerful defense than Player 2, although both players have won the same amount of matches.

Example: Player 1 & Player 2 both have 1500 Victory Points. Player 1 upgrades their base with gold and Player 2 only uses diamonds won through PVP. Player 1 could have a tier 8 base, while Player 2 could only have a tier 2 base.
