how to work drones

hi everyone bit of a novice here so be gentle how do you use drones activated mine but carnt find out how to use them in battle i can only activate or deactivated it how to you get them in your battle zone ?your advice will be appreciated

You can't use them for attacks, but when activated one drone will be added to your "guards" when your base is attacked. Having a "stack" of drones activated still means that only one will be included in any particular defense, but if it's destroyed, your next defense will get the next drone, etc... until you run out.
