I heard a rumor that there is a gold cap which is set to 1000, is that true? Basically, if I get 1000 gold, the game will stop allowing me chances to earn more?

I haven't heard that one. I would think that GLU would let you buy as much gold as you want to.

I believe Angels is referring to the free gold videos. I have not yet hit a ceiling except for when the server freezes. Best is about 20 gold on a day. It would take a lot of days to get 1000 free gold.��

Not true ... I have over 1800 gold and still get free videos to watch (although not as many as in the past, but that is likely due to Glu, not the amount of gold I have).
