Data Usage

Does anyone have any idea of how much data the game uses? For two months straight, within just over a week, I've gotten the alert that I've used almost 5GB of data. I still have 3 weeks to go on my billing cycle. I have unlimited, so it's no big deal, but with AT&T's most recent customer screwing, they can throttle my data once I go over 5GB. I was looking at my usage on line and it would appear that there's about a 30MB usage every time I start the app. Whether it was 15 minutes in between or 1 hour plus. Sometimes the usage is as much as 70MB. I don't have the luxury of wifi while I'm at work, but firing the app up every hour or less in the course of my 10 hour work day to play PVP means I'm using up over 300MB of data per day. I'm trying to find out if it's this app, or something else that is causing the large chucks. Just to give you an idea of what I'm seeing:

Seems a bit excessive to me, if it is just this game, that it would need to download that much data from the server each time.

Ok, well I figured out that I could check how much data each app is using and reset it. Fired up CKS and did nothing except let it load then shut it down. Checked stats again and it used 7MB. Not quite as bad as I thought, so the rest must be used up in finding opponents, etc.

I don't have specific numbers, but do know that it is VERY chatty. And now with all of the continual restarts/resyncs/updates it just makes the issue worse. I try to direct all data to my wifi connection whenever available and it helps...

Last month was 238Mb, since July 12, 158Mb.... so, there's definitely something going on this week!

I wish I had wifi ability at my work location. I mean, it is there, and I've been on it, but with my location, it's sketchy at best and drops out when it's trying to talk to the server after a battle. So I turn wifi off.
