Looks like we're back up again.
We now have Tier 19 out, Level 180 max, and new region Mechanics.
Also, except for iOS, the Global has started for a repeat of four weeks ago for an 18.5x Assault, so another wash for Amazon and I assume Google players.
I hear iOS is coming out with some Drone power changes, where we will get all our numbers degraded, but unchanged in effectiveness, so that the maximum values can be pushed up to add even more diamonds.
Also looks like with the restart of this forum, we are missing about 4 days of the last posts made, so some loss there.

No mention of CKS HQ - I don't know if it hasn't been updated, or this is new information.
I think they're all "spooks" ... from enemy opponents, to forum admins and moderators, to developers and customer care. Every last GLUTON is a figment, a phantom, a conjured apparition from the deepest recesses of our collective imaginations, hopes and fears.

I know we've discussed this previously and the prevailing wisdom has been they will disappear after some predetermined number of PvP matches. I believe the problem is directly related to the weapon's power rating, the subsequent matching algorithm and the availability of a suitable opponent.
Now I typically will look for opponents that have vaults of at least 300K+ diamonds and that can take 2-3 repeat finds anyways, but I find it curious that I will receive 1-2-3 of these "weak" opponents and on the 4th attempt 376K.
As I mentioned, this has been happening since I acquired the weapon coincident with the start of the current Global, so we're talking 1.5 days so far and at least 50 PvP battles. The frequency has admittedly been decreasing but these opponents persist.

This is turning out to be a very intense Global. DG, Aus, TZ and I are the top 4 players on the AT Leaderboard after Patrickpiollot (PP) who has reduced his play substantially. We are very close and I expect to see the four of us play very intensely for the next month at least. Right now, I have a lead of 1300 VP over Ausausa and 5500 VP over TZ, but those leads could evaporate in short order. PP has a lead of 12K, but that will erode quite rapidly at the current pace of play.
You know this DG1923I? He looks like your second LUNATIC to me and 2 or more of them make a Lunatic Asylum, a very dubious distinction ... trust me. Congratulations

I am sitting #318 with 1935 points on a 81 battle win streak. I am also in cruise mode looking just for milestone reward.
One thing that I find is very odd is, I keep getting matched up with two banned player. The banned players are DG1923 and TH54. Now there is a DG1923I and a TH542 on the top 30 IOS list.
I am not sure what to make of this.
Now to be perfectly "fair" it could also be an indication that the account profiles were somehow migrated, but the "old" account is still active ... I know, don't ask me
However, with 55,000 AP and nearly 2 days remaining, DG is certainly certifiable.
Whether DG was legal and lost his/her account, or had cheat/cracked code - would be fun to know. I'm always struggling to understand the motivation of these lunatics.
More interestingly, I have also (finally) hit the wall with regards to IN GAME CASH since it hasn't increased in quite some time. The maximum appears to be, and is testimony to just how useless this funny money actually is, 2.15 BILLION ... for anyone who's actually interested. SMH
The temptation to grab the 20.5 URSA ASSAULT weapon has just been turned up a notch ... the relative cost 1,235 GOLD or roughly the cost of finishing in the TOP 30 in an upcoming Global Event. So the real question is do I grab the weapon and eliminate my only motivating force to compete before TIER 20 is released?

Both players are/were in the top 10 All-time for the IOS platform.
Right now DG1923i is in 5th place.
The Banned player, from Dec. 26th had enough points that would have put him in 8th place.
Not knowing has Glu does there banning of players, could it have been a mistaken ban, and with Glu's fantastic programmers, maybe they don't know how to unban a player, so they just duplicate the account with a new name.
I kept reading in the forum about the banned player problem back in November, I did not start to see it until the end of December and like I said it is just the to players that keep coming up.
Banned players have been a complaint for quite some time because it means spending some diamonds to find another opponent. As long as it requires no more than 2-3 rolls of the dice, who cares, but if it mutates into 20 retries, then it starts to hinder the gaming experience.
Now you've provided the motivation for at least one lunatic ... he can't catch the others by normal game play because it's proving to be too costly for him, for some reason; maybe the wife (or parents) took away his gaming budget, who knows?
He has managed to fly beneath the radar until now; he has accumulated almost 10,000 VP in just a few weeks. Impressive but questionable, in my opinion.
He is now threatening to place himself atop the AT Leaderboard using questionable means ... I think he deserves an asterisk next to his name eh? At his current rate he will be #1 All Time in a month or two.

I still think some of these uber AP's are hacks/cheats, because I think most people are rational. I mean, isn't it so much easier to get better weapons in Super VIP, than waste your full attention/life on a game? Where's prestige when you have no life?
DG1923 is not a hack or a cheat, but a hard core player. I know Danny (DG1923) very well, he is Israeli, ranked #5 on the All Time Leaderboard and he is a "binge player". He told me a couple of weeks ago that he was going to go for a 100K Global, which will beat the previous IOS Global record of 59K, which was also DG's score.
I think that his intention is to do 100 K this weekend and then quit the game, but I am not certain that he will actually do that.

All of the top players going for it this weekend. I am just hoping to shadow TZ to keep him from closing the gap. Aus is a member of the Elites Clan, so I am willing to let him make some headway on my lead over him.
If it weren't you vouching for him, I would beg to differ. Whilst I can somewhat understand a player maybe spending 25,000-30,000 GOLD in a single weekend OR maybe stocking up on Red Bull and scoring 1,000 AP per hour for 96 hours straight, this doesn't sound like a game binge to me ... it's Lunacy (pure and simple).
Then again, crack addicts have been known to stay high for days on end, so what do I know.
