I've just started to play (played 5-6 missions) the Le Fusil region and so far it is only a re-use of old scenes.
Is that the case for the whole region? If so, I'm really glad that I didn't buy the region to get early access ;-)

It's the same stuff over and over, they won't even release new scenes for battles. They need to release CKS 4.0 and bring the graphics up to speed with Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Adding at least 10 new scenarios would make the game very interesting.
You're an experienced member, so you know that nothing ever changes between regions other than the payouts. Paying for access to a region early? ... foolishness.
Fortunately, the only thing I care about are the Tesla and Heavy missions, and they are still there.
The funny thing about this region is it DID NOT require new guns to complete it.I completed all of the Tesla missions with a 11.5 Tesla from last month. All of the other hunt the bad guy missions were completed and I only have 11.5 weapons as I got off the Glu merry go round last month and now just play for the fun of it.
I'm sure they didn't intend for me to be able to complete the new region with over a month old weapons but
that was a funny glitch.
This is particularly funny for the Android players who spent $500 to $600 to win a state of the art 12.5 Sniper in the last Global.
The hell you say? You must be referring to those 150-200 or so wild men who are now in the GOLD LEAGUE. Out of curiosity and have never been there myself, what is so different about the GOLD LEAGUE aside from the fierce competition? Are there better prizes available?
I can't find a d*a*m*n decent prize to save my life and there's absolutely nothing on sale that I don't already have and have had for weeks.
I'm also starting a pool ... will the Android Global go off without a hitch? OR glitch ??

The Gold League competition is stiff and recently the weapons haven't been impressive. This week Gold League is competing for the Lordship Tesla, 12.5, which was also the Super VIP last weekend. Max power 705 K and players who have it don't particularly like it. The last two Gold Leagues have been for clunky overrated Heavies, not worth the trouble.
The other difference is the Milestone awards. Gold League give tier 12 power packs, which are 30 XP at 50, 100 and 150 VP. They give $100 Gold at 200 VP. I like Silver League better, Diamonds and Tier 9 Modules at 25 50 and 75 VP and $50 Gold at 100 VP. I can always get the $50 Gold with free credits, but could never get to 200 VP to get the $100 Gold in Gold League.
Anyway, about your actual post subject, I've felt that the campaign missions were like watching re-runs for quite a while. I don't think they've done any original animations since the campaign where construction sites were released.
I didn't realize early access was linked to a weapon, that's not a bad deal at all if you can find one ...
... I never saw either and I'm starting to take this personally *** SMILES ***
If you like SILVER better, then that's good enough for me !!!
Gold League is just so pointless.
Gold League is pointless for several reasons: First, the people who make Gold League in IOS already have state of the art weapons, and don't need another. Second, the competition for the top 3 places is harder than the Global. Third, even if you want/slash need the weapon you can accumulated parts for 3 days and then spin the wheel to craft the weapon.
Because of that, competition in Gold on IOS has actually decreased over the last few weeks. The numbers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are high, but beyond that, nobody is even bothering to play for the $100 Gold.
My current strategy is to play for a weapon on the Global and then ignore League competitions in either Gold or Silver. This gives me 3 days to recover and relax.
The fact that the Le Fusil campaign has not required a 12.5 Assault or Sniper may modify my approach even further. I may actively pursue the Heavy Global every month and the Tesla Global every other month and play free credits the rest of the time. It may not be necessary to upgrade the Primary Weapons at all.
I would LOVE to adopt a strategy such as yours, however that is totally impossible on Google Android ... 25,000 AP minimum for RANK #30 ... and to think I was planning an ALL OUT ASSAULT as recently as 6-8 weeks ago ... SMH
There is a flaw in this strategy even on IOS. It will not generate enough Diamonds in the course of a month to stay current on Base and Drone upgrades. In this sense my strategy may actually work better on Android: Devote one weekend per month to a massive, expensive assault to get into the Top 30, you get the Heavy and you generate enough Diamonds to accomplish the "monthly maintenance" on your Base and Drone.
That's why I look forward to TARGET PRACTICE during League Events (such as the current) ...
I ONLY engage HIGH VALUE targets and all but ignore those opponents I would otherwise take during the Global. It also allows me to push the limits of my tactics and weapons.
After 2-3 days of target practice, the following Global is almost a turkey shoot. **SMILES**
Let The Games Begin !!!
1) Spend the free energy credits when you can, and have fun.
2) Budget a specific amount to the game and do the best you can, recognizing that you won't be able to stay current with Base, Drone and Weapons upgrades.
3) Commit to staying up with the Base upgrades, set up a long term plan to upgrade your Drone and do what it takes to get and keep competitive PVP weapons.
4) The Android leaderboard plan; throw tons of money at the game without regard to the cost.
You already know that my approach is #3, but I acknowledge that staying current involves a substantial gaming budget. Upgrading Tier 13 will cost 46 M Diamonds. Upgrades for a single 13.5 weapon will cost 15 M Diamonds. A single Level upgrade four the Drone is 4 to 5M. Assuming you take approach #3, it makes sense to buy Gold during the VIP events which will give you one or more useful weapons, and use that investment to compete for top 30 in at least one Global, either for a Heavy or a Tesla.
Recognize that heavy spending in a Global accomplishes two tasks: It gets you an essential weapon and it generates the massive number of Diamonds required to stay current. Astonishing Global numbers also generate substantial Base, Weapon and Drone upgrades.
If that is not acceptable, choices 1 and 2 are excellent alternative strategies.
If you chose a budget, stick to it regardless of the circumstances. If you see an opportunity, take it ... as long as it doesn't affect your budget. Successful management of funds often requires one to pass on a wager OR investment OR an attractive opportunity.
Over the long haul you will achieve success, avoid unnecessary risks and have a better overall gaming experience.
NOW ... Let The Games Begin !!! ... just received a SERVER MAINTENANCE notification ... I hope everything goes smoothly because I've been awaiting this battle for weeks now.
Good Hunting !!!
OH as an observation, SILVER LEAGUE DAY #3 which is usually a cakewalk has morphed into the most competitive of the three ... we're still talking SNIPER rifle aren't we?

Only 9 DTK contracts left to close and it's on the "Le Fusil" ... man I hate regional campaigns.
I've been bored since RUSSIA ... LMAO
And, what does that amount start at?
i'm level 120 and my weapons are Horn 11.5 (power 229.38k) & Basilisk Elite 12.5 (power 458.75k)
even the basilisk elite crashes and reboots, too. hayyy. hoping to get an answer on that.
thanks for the time to reply. i appreciate it.
I experienced that many times with Le Fusil ... thankfully, I am done with that region. I know it adds time to the entire process of playing the game, but the truth is you'll probably finish the region long before GLU addresses the problem.
My play ended with Le Fusil. Are there other levels past this? Do I just have to wait until they update the game? I need the Tesla and Heavy missions to get diamonds!!!
Le Fusil is the last campaign, but we should get a "new" one within the next couple of weeks.
