Oh i guess i'll just consider this a goner. Rather than spending gold to buy turns to compete for places, it is more worthwhile to buy off a weapon outright.

what's even worse, when i manage to load into a mission/pvp, the screen's black! and in a short moment, game crashed and i get booted out back to iOS home screen. wat the hell is happening here?

Nope, nothing's changed. I lost my gold twice for no apparent reasons. Am not gonna spend real cash on this game any more, unless they refund my gold.

Those redundant weapons are used to upgrade your existing weapons. All of them have "xp" figures. Just choose upgrade options in the components section and fuse, it will again, consume diamond or gold if you choose. Wonr be cheap, really.
