I don't get how they (Glu) can screw up so badly on something they do every week. There is no way to mistake, confuse, or not know the difference between BMW's and Toyota's. I'm sure they won't put up a new event to make up for this blunder.

I apologize to the admin. You are correct, this isn't customer support. I agree with you 100% as I'm having the exact issue you are and I've posted in here to be told it's a Google issue and of course Google + Google Games forum says it sounds like it's the dev's problem.
