My game is laggy during play

This has been happening for a couple of weeks now. When I play any level, the game will lag and I'll lose maybe 4 or 5 seconds of time and sometimes food will burn. I am not sure how to fix it but it is very annoying. thanks!!

Trying turning off the wifi and that should solve the problem!
