Trial of Style Leaderboard Question

I’m kind of at a loss as to how the current leader of my Trial of Style is even possible. They are at Level 7, with one golden saucer ... so they can’t even have played enough to open all of the venues needed for Trial of Style, and yet they have over 10,000 points in each venue and have, I’m guessing, paid to open up the next sets early (since the score is impossible with the levels currently available.) The total points are 154,770.

I'm sure it's cheaters. I do not understand why the developers do not struggle with this. I had the third place and the competition was over. It was written that I would receive my reward within 24 hours. And? Surprise!!! In the first place there was a player with points more than 60,000. And I was moved to the 4th place AFTER the competition!! It's finished!! No one could keep playing! How is that even possible?!!

I reported it, and they said they take it seriously, but can’t update me on what happens. The person is still there as #1, as impossible as it is.

 I don’t even understand how  one cheats at this game ... but clearly, this person is.
