Free Play AGAIN???

I think this has to be at least the seventh week in a row where the weekend event is Free Play. Are they ever going to bring back the double speed recipe prep or the VIP ticket drop events? (Or the rare gold drop event?). I’ve been playing for a long time and have finally started to feel bored. Plus, I use up my scarce VIP tickets on the Trials of Style so can’t make much headway to get 5 stars in the VIP Valhalla shows. I’ve complained twice to customer service, but then it’s Free Play yet again.
