Game size

With the size of the game now becoming a problem for some of us to download and update, would it be possible to zip up regions that aren't being used? It should make the size of the download and running application smaller and more managable for us. Unless there is a reason to go to one of the earlier regions I would just rather it stay zipped up to save space. Thanks
