Ads kicking me back to desk top after completing a scenario

I am using an iPad 2 and until recently working very good. Now 70-80% of the time after finishing a scenario and the advertisement starts, I get kicked directly back to the desktop and have to restart the game, often several times in a row.
Any ideas, are some of you others experiencing the same thing?

    Usually that means you have low memory. Do you have other apps open?
