So where is Snowman Stampede?

Two days ago I got a Facebook notification that there was a new event called "Snowman Stampede" now available. But when I log in and go to News and click on the event, I get "Cannot Connect to Server" every single time, and there is no new event available. I've been getting "Cannot Connect to Server" for weeks now. What's up with that?
