Crash after energy drink video

Three times today the "watch the video for 3 energy drinks" has appeared while hunting infected animals. It plays and then the game crashes; exiting the video WITHOUT getting the 3 credits. That's 9 credits lost. Does anyone know a fix to stop this from happening?

I think it is just a matter of the game outgrowing the capabilities of older devices. My iPhone 6 works very well. My Gen 1 iPad Mini crashes all the time.
