last limited event for deer hunter 2014

Think its a bit strange that seeing its the last event thats likely to be posted before release of DH2016, and I guess many like me have millions of hunter bucks and platinum coins saved playing all regions up to 22 and all the hidden and elite events, that there is no option to use any of these to buy weapons to complete the Open Season Event? To complete the Evolution series we still have to 'buy with gold' (cash) another level 15 assault rifle?? I guess the legacy XIV series is the same? Feel a bit like a junky being screwed for his last few bucks for a final fix?? We've already accumulated and paid for numerous and better weapons through our support over the months we've dedicated to your sight, can't we buy the weapons we need with the bucks we've earned? Unless of course we can take them with us to DH2016??? Why should I pay 408 gold bars for a standard 15 series Westin Evolution when I can buy a standard series 15 Hauer Valve for 6 million hunter bucks?
