Nope. The PvP event is separate from the Regions where you need that Regions rifle to do the trophy hunt.
You can do the PVP and spin the wheel to earn mods to put on any gun to make it more powerful. Two different and unrelated part of the game
You're welcome. Like I said, you can modify any gun, including those not used for the PvP for doing the Region trophy hunts. It might save on consumables. But you can't tier those guns or modify them as much as PvP guns. I hope that makes sense to you.
Playing PVP is voluntary, but a good way to earn plats for guns or bows that need plats to upgrade. Easy way to also earn gold.
PvP players are easy to beat, till you collect 1500 plus trophies. But if you never invest in tiering them up, you won't win trophies.
