Is there any way other than spending to gold to get additional weapon parts? I've completed the first level but can't go any further without more parts to build the weapon for that level.

I am upset with this as well. I invested money to buy to compete the 1st complete round but can not do it a second or third time in order to earn credit to build all the other weapons. I feel cheated.
