I need help

I keep trying to play multiplayer on Eternity Warriors 2 on my iPod 4 and it keeps timing out and when I play on Game Center it keeps crashing also when I go to the normal lobby it says one player online when my friend says there are over 100 players online.is there a problem with the connection or something?
