Some questions(game mechanics/general)

Just some things I've been wondering about, if anyone knows anything that'd be cool

1. How does defense work? Does it reduce a % or flat amount? It seems low damage gets reduced more than big damage does.

2. Can purple/orange items drop from chests or mini bosses? Can orange items drop from regular state bosses?

3. How much content was added to the previous eternity warriors games? What can we expect?

I think defense is a flat amount. For example I had 200 attack and did 20 damage to cyclops. When I reached 300 I did 120 damage. (this is just an example not real numbers).Purple items do not drop from chests or mini bosses in my experience but purples do drop from bosses that are not cyclops nian or hellboy. As for orange items from bosses other than nian cyclops and hellboy I do not think so. As for #3 I have no idea.

EDIT: All I think they have done since beta is add legendary and release it worldwide and on android. Probably fixed some bugs and issues too.
