I would suggest adding a poll ingame for every update you do, maybe the poll would say yes or no OR it may even be multiple choice so that us players could choose which update would be best, this way you are listening to the players (people are moaning you aren't) and making updates that we enjoy.
I have seen this on other games and it has been a great way of developing the game to fit the players needs.
