I just found one in endless at around 100-105.

I also found out you can find green runes in endless, which I have not been able to find from levels 1-25 on Lotus. How pathetic.

They become more common the higher up you go, but still rare.
I got 3 in one run from 100-134

When you're done upping all your gear, they're everywhere.

very true man..just like the nightfire it drop got completely fused, then came kill oni and dropped the stupid oni-eye staff now i got no soulshard in which i hate to farm, now the rest of his rare weapon dropping like cake

The prince ss can be found from bellboy(trying for at least 30 times and you will get one or two) and at endless from 100> ,but the probability is low even there .

they are not rare if you play alot... they start dropping from endless wave 99 and @hellboy. play 12h a day and youll have 10 of them daily

On average from my thousands of runs on hellboy I would guess between a 0.5% and 2% drop chance. Though I did just get two in a row from hellboy today. IIF over 400.

I plan to have at least two different sets of gear (at least for weapons) to switch off with runes. So hopefully I won't have that happen.

This is what I've been doing - the gem cost to unequip a purple or yellow rune is a joke.
