ditto what ultra said. The extra health and defense you get from the godly gear out weighs the pvp power which in my opinion didn't seem to hhave any major effect in the matches.

The jewelry might not be a bad option for pvp gear. You can still maintain a pretty high energy reduction, cc, and cd, while getting yourself a 4.6% bonus (two purples).
