Bug: android PvP match doesn't start for one character

I had two arena fights yesterday where the fight started but I didn't get the 1, 2, 3 countdown. My mage, which is shown on the right in the screenshot, could move but all her fight controls were disabled. Also shown in the screenshot.

The timer did not tick down either.

Another time the same glitch happened and I couldn't fight at first but after a few seconds of running my fight console enabled. I was getting hit and taking damage but none of my hits were damaging the warrior. Then the game seemed to glitch for him because he just turned and ran to the wall. He din't turn any more but and just kept running. Here's the screenshot. Note the time shows that the match just started but we had been exchanging blows for some time. The warrior just ran at the wall, still invunlerable but just kept running. This went on for over five minutes of real time.



And then poof, my mage was dropped out of the picture but the warrior just kept running
