Lost character and game on update.

Thanks for the update, Now i have lost my game. I have lost my character, gems, whole invertory and now im back to lvl 1. I know im not the highest player but I was lvl 44, i have devoted a lot of time to this and now all for nothing.
I have even tried rectifying the problem with restoring from a back up on my pc. once restored It wont load cause it needs an update. Oh hang on , Welcome to EW3, you can start all over again.
Im not impressed as I have spent money recently and now its all for nothing so far.
I have sent an email through to support so we will see what comes from this.
