Any update to syncing devices?

I wish I knew about this before playing this, but I'm having issues with my Asus Transformer and now would like to switch to using my GS3 to play EW3. Well, I'm finding out that they don't sync (or it's not obvious on how to accomplish this). I know that PvP is important, but if Google's Play Games can sync achievements, why is this an issue?
