Allow Chef Arena Boss battles offline

Why does the Chef Arena require me to be online to fight these NPC bosses or spend tickets I've already earned? Please make this area of the game something that can be done offline. Not everyone is playing on a phone or has access to wifi everywhere they go. I regret opening the area since now all of my daily goals insist I do something there. I haven't been able to complete daily goals for 3 days due to this issue. Is there a way to close the Chef Arena so I can at least get daily goals that are achievable again?
