Inadvertently deleted iPad app - everything gone?

So I accidentally deleted the app, and now all my progress and the upgrades I paid for are all gone. Redownloading the app made me start over from scratch. Is there no way to restore one's progress?

If you had linked your RD account to Facebook then your progress should have been saved.

Not everybody has a facebook account. I don't, and I refuse to. I did login with my Google account, though, so shouldn't it save that way? (Just asking for future reference if I need to reinstall).

I did link the game to my Facebook account so I just tried to connect again. All of my stats have been restored. Thank you for your help.
