Extra boosts for duels

Here's a question I have. I was starting a duel and decided to unlock a second boost spot. I didn't have a boost to use at the time, but thought I earned enough gold today to buy the spot. When I went back for a duel later, the spot wasn't unlocked? What's up with that?

Yeah you do. It is ****py. I didn't know the first time I bought one. Same with auto-chefs.

You're telling me! I learned by buying an extra spot in BBB by mistake, thinking I was in LL at the time. And BBB is one of the two venues where I really have no need for a second boost so it was very frustrating! Also, just a head's up: The second slot in Chef Arena costs much MUCH more -- 125 gold, iirc.

I already have all gold in all BBB levels, so I didn't need the extra boost at all
