Game is freezing my Galaxy S6

I turned my phone off for a couple of days (not something I normally do) while camping, and ever since this game freezes my phone. Sometimes it will not start, sometimes it freezes temporarily while playing a level, and other times it seems to freeze my phone completely until I reboot.

Anyone had experiences like this?

I've tried booting in safe mode, I've cleared the cache, etc.

It's driving me a little crazy to say the least!
