Changing from Rifle to Machine Gun

Loving this game so far, but I can't work out how to change weapon from Rifle to Machine Gun and Vice Versa. Some levels are rifle only, but the machine gun is selected and I can't change!

    Your weapons will switch when you hit the arrows on the right that are pointed in a circular direction. It will switch from machine gun to rifle and vice verse. Good luck!!!!;)
