i played zombies ate my friends today and i saved my progress in a safehouse i was in the middle of episode 4 i quit then i cant enter the game it crashes when i try to open what happened to my game progress and my items???

i dont understand..i was in the middle on the episode 4 then i auit but now i cant continue...game is crashing everytime i try to start!i tried to switching my ipad to the airplane mode,switched on-off my ipad its still the same!i tried to froce close the apps...
should i wait for the new update?can i continue after that
