Deer Hunter 2018, Problem with Historical Hunts

Okay, so I'm on the last year with James Cole and the problem started as soon as I got enough trophy points to unlock the bow hunts. As soon as that happened, historical hunts stopped responding. I have a very small window of time when I open historical hunts to press anything before it stops responding (about three seconds). I have to hard reset every time to get the game to work again. It's happened a good 30 times now and I'm playing it by hard resetting each time and quickly clicking on something but its sucking the fun out of it. The update this morning had no effect on it. Any help would be nice!
