From a business perspective. Glu wouldn't want players to have free rewards no more. If you do a clan jumper and didn't miss all of the clan war one can easily earn 100k coins easily which of cause can be spin for energy etc etc. With the payout cut into half it is utterly useless to do a clan jump. The 3 man clan members is only temporary. If you check it back they will be more than 4 person in order for them to start a clan War . Its always full / maximum number of members during and prior to clan war .
