Ari Stone vs. Perry

I'm far into the game and I have been given the option to drop Perry as my manager to then hire Ari Stone. I don't know which one will give me better gigs that maybe pay more money? If I leave Perry, will he come after me and try to ruin my career?? He is my best friend on the game and I dont know if I should drop him or not.
