Character in contact list without a letter

There is a character in my contact list whose star doesn't have a letter in it like all the others (A, B, C, etc.). He has a star, but there is no letter inside it at all. Does anyone know what this means?

Just means they have no rank They are hard to come by but they do exist

Oh, I was wondering if maybe it meant he was special in some way so I've been dating him...I just wanted to see what happened. Oh well!
