How to get bonus on gis and dates???

I've noticed that on some gigs and dates I am able to get bonuses depending on what I'm wearing. How do I make sure I have that I have the 'right look'?

    Your bonus on gigs depends on the amount star (professional) points of your wardrobe and your bonus on dates depends on the amount of heart (love) points of your wardrobe. What you wear doesn't necessarily matter.
