Missions all screwed up!!! PLEASE HELP!

I'm level 10 and on the A list. I'm on the mission "Portrait of Solitude" where I have to complete a shoot at Popglam. The task is on the left where missions are listed but there's a mission on there that I never did... It just appeared and because of it Simon won't call me for the shoot at Popglam. The random mission is called "Walk a Mile..." Where I have to complete an appearance at Chateau Nuit. I went to Vegas (where the place is) and when I went inside there was no event! PLEASE HELP! I have no way of completing "Walk a mile" therefore I'm not getting the call from simon for the shoot at Popglam! Please help this is driving me crazy! I SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON THIS GAME FOR THIS TO HAPPEN?!?!

P.S. I've never seen the "Walk a mile" before it just randomly appeared with the rest of the task and I have no idea why!!

Do you have a date there? If so, try to cancel the date. That happens to me earlier
