Help! New update problem?

So I saw this new update for the game so I pressed UPDATE. It said that I didn't have enough storage for the update so I deleted some apps and then I went back to the app store to continue the update. It said it was UPDATING so I waited. It's been an hour already and my game cannot be opened because it's "UPDATING" but I can't see any progress on it. How do I fix this? I really wanna play.

Trying turning your device off and again, this should hopefully with any luck cancel the updateing progress to enable you to start the update again.
