Daily Mystery Gifts... different color boxes?

The new mystery gift items have different color boxes: white, black, and gold.... do we know what the colors mean?

So far I can only open white boxes. My guess is that when all the white box items are unlocked we can then open black boxes and so on. Obviously that's only speculation tho.

Has anyone been able to open the black or gold boxes yet?

I've only been getting the same color boxes. I'm going to watch and check when that screen pops up today. There is a lavender dress and I missed it by one box one day, and I never saw it again. All I ever get are Energy or $$. I'll even take an ugly sweater. lol. I need to start picking the right boxes. lol.

Every time I don't go with my gut I miss the good boxes and get something like 4 energy lol
