*help!! not getting stars for 5-star jobs!!*

Hello,
During this weekend's (Oct 10-12) "receive stars for every 5-star gig" I have done three jobs, seen the stars on my screen when the money falls but they don't add into my overall stars.
It must be a glitch but it is super-frustrating.
How will I get these missing stars?
I am so disappointed and don't know whether to bother to do as many jobs as possible any more....
