who to marry?

Hello everyone I am engaged to someone that is an e-lister and i'm just wondering if I should start dating someone that's a c-lister or something like that.. does it matter at all? I have a pilot on my list, would I get free plane rides or something if I marry him? Thanks for any help also, i'm using android and no friends show up ever, so it's all computer generated people that I met in the restaurants etc.

Dating someone further up the list will get you more fans when you reach certain check points in your relationship. Dating an A-lister and getting the keys to their place will also unlock the place next to the Calabasas mansion which will be locked right now. But their jobs won't have an effect on the game, it wouldn't give you free plan rides or anything
