Home girl was correct, just checked and you can change your name by talking to Maria. Good stuff. I personally wasn't stupid enough to name my character something weird so I don't have that problem. :P

Also if you plan on changing your name, you will have to use stars to not lose fans. If you don't have stars, I think it's 50, then Maria said you will lose a lot of fans. Not sure how many since I don't have to change mines.

Well, hopefully you read this thread before going with it. Maria clearly tells you you'll lose a plethora of fans. There's nothing you CAN do but keep doing gigs and you'll get them back.

When you get a phone call from Maria again, after she tells you what she needs to tell you - aka the yellow exclamation point bubble, then the talk bubble appears with that option again.
