How do u go on dates

I'm just wondering how do you go on dates with your contacts

When you go into a club or restaurant.....from Brew Palms to Panino or Mirasomething Grande(?), you'll see a pink/red heart icon, click on that and your contacts pop up. select one, hit the call button on the friend tab, and your 'date' pops up in the restaurant/club with you. Now look in the bottom left and see how long your date it. Other people say if you wait a while and go to a different venue you can get a shorter time, but that never works out for me.
